Kathmandu

What a busy city! We arrived yesterday at 7pm local time in Kathmandu. We then had a meeting with Ajaya about our trip and got our down jackets. We then walked into the city and there were no lights only candles and torches in the shops. Our hotel and the bar we went to does have lights. For the ride home we went on a rik shaw and it was very bumpy and fast. The adults drank the wne from Peters nalgene bottles so he can use then for water when we start walking. We fly to luka tomorrow at 6am so have to be up very early about 4 oclock in the morning! Today we went to the Hindu temple and they were perfoming a funeral. We then went to Boudhanath, which is a buddhist stupa. It was very big and has prayer wheels all around the outside which you turn and keep them all turning. it was fun! We will try and post from Namche Bizzare. It will be two days from now. Tony Carne has just arrived!
